What is the innovation and how does it solve a development challenge?
Our innovation is based on a modular smart water tank called the COLSTO. The tank is a 25-liter plastic polymer tank, which has an inlet and outlet. So, it can easily connect to each like a Lego puzzle to make a large compound tank. It can be used to harvesting fresh water municipality water, grey water and rainwater.
The tank is innovative because it gives people the opportunity to save water a low cost and can expand on their storage if and when they have the financial means. The grey water portion of the tanking system is by far the most important for the user. It will collect water on a daily basis. Unlike our competitor who focus on summer rain water which is scarce. All the water collected will be used to flush a toilet.
